Born in Kansas on Nov. 16, 1892. By 1917 Shively had settled in Los Angeles where she taught at the Southwest College of Music & Art. Her works include painting on parchments and china as well as Western & Indian scenes. A spinster, she died in Los Angeles on Nov. 27, 1981. Biography courtesy of Edan Hughes.
