Lester Bonar (1896-1973)...Born: Phoenix, AZ

Studied: University of California (Los Angeles)

Member: Laguna Beach Art Association.

Lester Bonar was raised in Arizona and moved to California in the 1920s. In the early 1930s, he took private painting instruction from Sam Hyde Harris and began painting with transparent watercolors. He exhibited these works locally through the 1960s.
