Christine Dailey (1912–1991) was a Southern California painter and teacher whose modernist oils and mixed-media works date mainly from the 1950s and 1960s.

Born in 1912, Dailey received extensive training, studying art in Los Angeles and Chicago before traveling to Italy, France, and Spain. She later taught art in Glendale while maintaining an active studio practice.

Dailey exhibited widely in Los Angeles, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Laguna Beach, as well as with the Old Bergen Art Guild in New Jersey and other venues throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Notable among her exhibitions was the painting Protest, included in the 16th Annual Invitational Exhibit of Contemporary Painting at the Chaffey Community Art Association in 1956.

She also provided leadership to the arts community, serving as President of Women Painters West—a prominent California organization supporting women artists—from 1965 to 1967. Dailey’s vibrant abstracts and semi-abstract compositions, often inspired by California landscapes and modernist influences, remain sought after by collectors of mid-century California art.
