MENTOR HUEBNER (1917-2001)

Mentor Huebner was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 1917. Huebner was active as an artist from the 1930s. He studied in the U. S. and Europe, worked as an illustrator for the motion picture studios, and taught at the AIC and Chouinard Art Institute. He died in Los Angeles on March 19, 2001. A Post-Impressionist, Huebners works include portraits, landscapes, and seascapes.
